Pomodoro Timer, Countdown & Stopwatch
✓ Link copiedA three-in-one focus timer that runs entirely in your browser. The Pomodoro mode automates the focus-and-break cycle — work for a focused stretch, take a short break, and after several rounds enjoy a longer break — with fully adjustable durations and an automatically advancing cycle. The Countdown mode lets you set any hours-minutes-seconds duration for cooking, workouts, or meetings. The Stopwatch mode times open-ended activities with lap splits down to a hundredth of a second. When a timer ends you get an optional desktop notification, an audible chime, and the page title counts down live so you can keep an eye on it from another tab. Nothing is uploaded and no account is needed — every tick happens on your device.

How to use
Pick a mode at the top. For Pomodoro, adjust the focus, short-break, long-break, and sessions-per-long-break values if you like, then press Start; the timer cycles through focus and breaks automatically, and Skip jumps to the next phase. For Countdown, type a duration in hours, minutes, and seconds and press Start, then Pause or Resume as needed. For Stopwatch, press Start to begin, Lap to record split times, and Reset to clear. Click "Enable desktop notifications" once to be alerted even when this tab is in the background.
Frequently asked questions
- What is the Pomodoro technique?
- It's a time-management method that breaks work into focused intervals — traditionally 25 minutes — separated by short breaks, with a longer break after every four intervals. The structure helps sustain concentration and avoid burnout. This tool follows that pattern by default but lets you customise every duration.
- Will I be notified when a timer ends if I switch tabs?
- Yes. The browser tab title updates live with the remaining time, and a chime plays when a timer finishes. If you click "Enable desktop notifications" and allow the permission, you'll also get a system notification even when this tab isn't focused. Some browsers require the tab to stay open in the background.
- Is my data sent anywhere?
- No. The timer runs completely in your browser using standard timing APIs. Your settings and times are never transmitted, logged, or stored on any server, and the tool works without an account.
